CARTER COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Kyle "Tip" Woods, 6 Dec 2004

Kyle "Tip" Woods, 75, Reynolds Rd., Elizabethton, died Monday, December 
6, 2004 in the Sycamore Shoals Hospital.

A native of Carter County, he was a son of the late William Garce and Carrie 
Elizabeth Greenway Woods.

He was associated with Woods Brothers Dairy Farm.

Mr. Woods was a member of Borderview Christian Church.

He had served in the United States Army.

He was preceded in death by five brothers, William, George, Glenn, Jack, and 
Howell Woods.

Survivors include a brother and sister-in-law, Harry and Linda Woods, 
Elizabethton; three sisters and one brother-in-law, Sue Woods Webb and Lonnie 
Webb, and Virginia Wood, Elizabethton, and Lois Beasley, Kingsport. Several 
nieces and nephews also survive.

Graveside services will be conducted at 2:30 p.m. Wednesday, December 8, 2004 
in Happy Valley Memorial Park with the Rev. Russell Potter officiating. Burial 
will follow the service. Active pallbearers will be friends and neighbors. 
Honorary pallbearers will be Paul Clawson, Larry Shoun, George Shoun, Bob 
Reynolds, Sherman Hatley, Melvin Woods, Earl Woods, Bob Hyatt, all of his 
friends and associates, Sheriff John Henson and employees of the Carter County 
Sheriff's Department. The family will receive friends from 1 to 2 p.m. Wednesday
