William A. Wright

   William Albert Wright, 90, 1633 Hillview Drive, Elizabethton, died 
Tuesday, March 5, 2002, at the James H. Quillen VA Medical Center 
Hospital following an extended illness.
   Mr. Wright was a native of Carter County and the son of the late 
William Albert and Bertha Graybeal Wright. He was also preceded in death 
by four brothers and four sisters.
   Mr. Wright was a retired painter and a U.S. Army veteran, having 
served in World War II.
   Survivors include a sister and brother-in-law, Grace and Albert 
Humphrey, Elizabethton, and several nieces and nephews.

   WRIGHT -- Funeral services for William Albert Wright, 90, 1633 Hillview 
Drive, Elizabethton, who died Tuesday, March 5, 2002, will be conducted at 
7 p.m. Thursday, March 7, in the Riverside Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home 
with the Rev. Bobby Stout officiating. A private disposition will be held 
at a later date. The family will receive friends from 6 to 7 p.m. Thursday 
in the Riverside Chapel of Tetrick Funeral Home. Condolences may be sent
