TN Wills Vol. 2 - Page 26 I Thomas Crow of the County of Carter and State of Tennessee do make and publish this as my Last Will and testament hereby revoking and making void all other wills by me at any time made. First I direct that my funeral expenses and all my just debts be paid of any as soon after my death as possible considering the uncertainty of this mortal life and being of Sound Mind & Memory. First(sic) I give and bequeath to my Daughter Jane who married William Nave who said to be dead and if so to her heirs a tract of Land lying in the county of Carter & State of Tennessee being the same Lot of Land that William Nave and my Daughter Jane formerly lived on being the North East and of a tract of Six hundred and forty acres bought of John Carriger situated and bounded as follows by the (illegible) of the original survey & marked line made Beginning on a branch of chestnuts thence along the South west side of the Cane brake Ridge through a Large Sink hole on the side of the Ridge to a Large White Oak and pointers Dogwood & poplars thence to a Sowerwind in as near a line of the Original Survey & A. M. Carter heirs line. 2. I give & bequeath to my Grandchildren the Heirs of my son Robert G. C. Crow, Decd. the remaining part of my Land. 3. Give & bequeath to my Grand Son Thomas Crow & the son of R. G. C. Crow forty acres of Land including my Hous (illegible) & Gris Mill & all other building on the said forty acres of Land being of the tract of Land that I give to my son R. G. Crow. 4. The balance of said Tract I desire to give equal number in acres to six of the heirs of R. G. C. Crows. I also give to Phebe Crow the Second Lot of Land not knowing the number of acres there will be to each heir & the third Lot of Land I also give to Martha my Grand Daughter who married David Bowers & the Daughter of R. G. C. Crow the 4 Lot and I give and bequeath to my Grand Daughter Jane who married Solomon Miller the 2 Lot and I also give and bequeath to my Grand Daughter Angeline the 6th & Last the said Angeline being the wife of Eljah Jenkins Signed sealed & published in our presents and we have subscribed our names hereto in the presence of the testator this 21 day of May 1864.
