Carter Co. TN Wills Vol. 2 - Page 26  

  	I, Mary Emmert widow of George Emmert Decd. being week of body but of 

sound mind and memory do make and publish this my Last Will and Testament.

	My soul I commend to God who give it and my body to be buried in the 

ground in a Christian like manner by my Executor herein after mentioned.  My 

property I dispose of in the following manner.

	First I give and bequeath to my Daughter Delcena with all the 

improvements and appurtenances therein, my other children having hereto recd. 

Their portions of Land.  I also give my Daughter Delcena Elizabeth Emmert one 

Feather bed and beding.  I give and bequeath to my son George Emmert one 

Feather bed & beding. I also give to my Daughter Delcena Elizabeth Emmert one 

cupboard one kitchen cupboard one basian and one chest.  I also request my 

Daughter Elizabeth Emmert to take care of me during my natural life and have 

the property above named to her at my death.  Lastly I appoint Delcena 

Elizabeth Emmert Executrix of this my Last Will and Testament this 2 day of 

June 1866.
