TN Will Book Vol. 2, Page 4 February Term 1854 The last Will and testament of Henson Hunt was exhibited for probate and thereupon came John Wright and Edmund Williams attesting witnesses to said will, and after being duly sworn testified that said will was duly signed and acknowledged by the testator in their presence and that they believe that he was of sound mind memory and discretion. Said will is therefore admitted to probate and ordered to be spread upon the records one thousand dollars. Appearing upon the face of said will that Warrington Hunt was appointed executor to said will and testament the said Warrington Hunt came unto open Court and entered into bond in the sum of [blank] dollars with William J. Hunt his security and was qualified as the law directs, and it is further ordered that Letters issue to him. WILL Be it known and remembered that I Henson Hunt do publish this my last Will and testament resending all other wills that I heretofore made. First I direct that all my just accounts shall be collected and all my debts paid by my executor. Secondly I will and bequeath a lot of land on the waters of Brush Creek in Washington County, where Mary Tucker now lives, supposed to be ten acres, to the said Mary Tucker and her heirs forever. Third I will and bequeath to my wife, Mary M. Hunt, a servant girl called Elizabeth. Fourthly, I will and bequeath to my daughter Cinthy Ann Henly & her Heirs, a servant boy called George. Fifthly I will and bequeath to my son Esly Hunt and Caroline Jones ten dollars each, and to my sons John Hunt and Heter and William J. Hunt one dollar each, having already given off to them their portions. The balance of my property remaining to be sold at twelve months credit and equally divided between the children of Elizabeth Pugh and Nancy Ann Crawford severly, the part coming to Nancy Ann Crawford’s children to be bestowed on them in education and out of the said money I will that Clark P. Mastin have fifty dollars. Lastly I hereby constitute and appoint my son Warrington Hunt my executor. In testimony whereof I have hereunto set my hand and seal. This twenty fourth day of November A.
