DIRECTIONS:  This cemetery is located in the Henrietta Community right on Highway 12 
beside a home at 3520 Highway 12.  It is well maintained.

There is a very large inscribed stone at the front of this cemetery that indicates that 
the Clifton forebears are buried at the Old Church Cemetery to the Southeast.  
Some of the inscription is as follows:  

Edwin Clifton and his wife, the former Nancy Folks; Edwin's father Samuel Albert Clifton 
10/6/1743 - 5/19/1834; son Edwin died 1826 age 62; Nancy B. 11/14/1772 (age 68) 1840; their 
children Samuel D. died in infancy; Martha B. cir 1796 mar ??? James; Wm. B. 1798; Lemuel 
Kirby 2nd - 1801; Mary B. cir 1803 - mar Joseph Smith; Benj. Mince b 1804 (all of these 
children were born in Halifax County, North Carolina).  Other children were born in 
Montgomery Co, TN:  James Mallory b 1810; Hester Ann 1812 Mar Isaac B. Rogers (1815); 
Rebecca B 1817 Mar Miles Harris; Edward Lindsey b 1818; Joseph John b 1819.  

There is a lot more information contained on the inscription, but is mainly historical.
