LOCATION:  On New Hope Road - approximately 2 miles from Highway 41A in Cheatham County.  If coming 
from Interstate 24, take the New Hope Exit #31  (if going East on 24, turn left; if going West, turn right on New 
Hope Road from Exit 31).  Cemetery is on road and is well maintained.  It is beside a home at 1518 New Hope 
Road.

NOTE:  According to residents in the area, there use to be a church beside this cemetery.  When the church was 
rebuilt, it was moved up the road 1 mile and renamed New Hope FWB Church.  It was formerly called the Shady 
Grove Church.  That is why the cemetery is referred to as the Old Shady Grove Cemetery.
