W. Duke, do make and publish this as my last will and testament hereby revoking and making Null all other wills by me at any time made. First, I do direct that my funeral expense and just debts be paid as soon after my death as possible out of monies that I may die possessed of or may first come into the hands of my wife. Second, I give and bequeath to my wife Roda Ann all my household and kitchen furniture also all my stock consisting of mules, cattle and hogs and wagon and buggy also all of the money notes and accounts that I may die possessed of and that she take the money and purchase a tract of land such as she may think will suit her consulting her best friend as respects the purchase of the land for the use of her and my children, Viz, Martha Ann, Erevina Anner [Ermine Ann], and Rhoda Anne until my said child Roda Anne arrives at the age of twenty one years and then the tract of land so purchased by my wife together with all the household and kitchen furniture and everything in possession of and belonging to my wife to be sold on credit of twelve months and the procedes arising therefrom to be divided equally between my wife Rhoda Anne and my five children, Robert, Green, Martha Anne, Erevina [Ermine Ann] and Roda Anne.
