CLAIBORNE COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Billy Wayne Johnson, 23 Sep 2001

    NEW TAZEWELL, Tenn. — Billy Wayne Johnson, 51, passed away Sunday, Sept. 23, 2001, at Claiborne County Hospital. Born April 18, 1950, he was the son of the late Harley and Nora Turner Johnson. He was a member of Little Creek Baptist Church in Harrogate, Tenn. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one sister. Survivors include his wife, Janet Johnson, New Tazewell; daughters, Lori Johnson, Knoxville, Tenn., Angie Johnson and Maggie Johnson, both of New Tazewell; son, Billy Joe Johnson, New Tazewell; brother, Don Johnson, Harrogate, Tenn.; brothers and sisters-in-law, Bobby and Laura Johnson, Tazewell, Jerry and Della Johnson, Danny and Carolyn Johnson, all of Tazewell, Tenn.; very special friends, Don and R.C. Thacker; and a host of other relatives and friends. Funeral services were at 2 p.m. Wednesday at Coffey Funeral Home, Tazewell Chapel, with the Revs. Jackie Daniels and Bobby Bush presiding. Burial will be in Fairview Cemetery. Pallbearers were Don Thacker,
 R.C. Thacker, Ralph Ray, Jim Price, Ronald Johnson, and Bodie Johnson. Coffey Funeral Home, Tazewell, Tenn., was in charge of arrangements.
