Was known as the Jones Cemetery, established on the Russell & Sarah Hayes Jones farm. There are numerous graves marked with stones where inscriptions have disappeared due to deterioration. This is not a complete list of tombstones but must represent aproximately 75% of them. These were transcribed from photos taken on a visit in September, 2000. ec It is a beautiful place on a hill with a panoramic view of the Smokey Mountains. The only buildings in site is the Russell and Sarah Jones homeplace where a descendant now lives with her family. BELL Caroline Penland Bell b. Feb. 23 1818 d. Feb 1897 Thomas Jefferson Bell b.
