The YETT cem. is by the site of where the old O'Haver Methodist Church used to be. The church was built on land donated by Wm. YETT. It was built by the members, including the YETT family. The William & Mary YETT mansion, a large white wooden 2 story had white brick pillars across the front. Inside, it had a winding stairway, w/ a rest platform 1/2 way up. All the Yett girls came down this stairway to be married in their home. The home was built c1/8 mile sw of the cem. across,(w. side), of Hwy. 321.The Wm. YETT house burned, about 1976-80?, but a red brick 2 story home built in 1849 by his son, Hamilton YETT is still being lived in by the Balch family in Parrottsville. A red brick one story house was built around 1930-40's next to the YETT cem. by Earl Blazer. He kept the cem. mowed until he was not able, c1990. Ray Blazer moved there about 1998.
