Jacobs & other heirs at law of Jeremiah Jacobs Decd ŠExparte petition Što sell land Be it remembered that this cause came on to be heard this 3rd day of March 1856 before the County Court of Coffee County upon the report of the Clerk of this Court appointed to sell [inserted: "the"] land in this case which report is in the words and figers(sic) following to wit. The undersigned Clerk of the County Court for Coffee County Who was directed by a Decree pronounced at the November Term 1855 to sell the land in the pleadings mentioned and described, would beg leave to report that after first Advertizing(sic) the time and place of sale as required by said decree he did on the 20th day of December 1855 on the premises at the late resident of said Jeremiah Jacobs deceased [inserted: "would to"] sell the lands in the pleadings mentioned When Alferd(sic) Jacobs became the purchaser at the sum of Eight Thousand four hundred and sixty four dollars [inserted: "and 47 cts"] he being the highest and best bidder at that sum the same was struck off to him he paid two hundred and fifty dollars down and executed his three several notes with W. Jacobs, C. C. Jacobs, J. J. Jacobs, & M. S. Hancock as his securities for two thousand eight hundred and twenty one dollars & 49 cents each payable in one, two and three years. All which is respectfully submitted March 3rd 1856. Hiram L. Emerson, Clk Which report being unexcepted to is in all things confirmed. [Note: Variously identified in unrelated documents as "Hiram L.
