Powell I do hereby give transfer and convey to him a tract of land in Coffee County Tennessee district number nine containing by estimation one hundred and six acres and bounded as follows to wit. Beginning at a Post Oak in Coulsons line on the Manchester Road and corner to John Wilsons Jr.? tract of land thence N 8 3/4 W 261 poles to a black oak thence S 3/ W 69 3/4 poles to a dogwood and pointer from then Wootens corner thence S 89 1/4 E 218 poles to a Hickory in said Wilsons line thence N 1/4 W 13 poles to Black Walnut said Wilson corner thence N ? W 58? poles to the beginning. Received of my father Alexander Powell six hundred and thirty six dollars the estimated value of the above recited tract of land and an advancement to me towards my interest in his estate this To have and to hold the same to the said William A. Powell his heirs and assigns forever I warrant and agree for myself and heirs to warrant and defend the title to the said tract of land to said William A.
