This file was contributed for use in the USGenWeb Archives by: Steve Carson carson@siggraph.org ==================================================================== TSLA, Coffee County Deeds, Book A, Pages 377 and 378, 3 November 1835 Know all men by these presents that Nathan Vannoy and Mary Vannoy, the wife of Nathan Vannoy of the State of Missouri, Pike County have this day bargained, sold and conveyed and hereby do bargain sell and convey to Alexander, James and William McMichael of the State of Tennessee Bedford County all our right, title, claim or demand in an undivided tract of land of 180 acres more or less being on Noah's fork of Duck River being the tract of land on which the said McMichaels now live whereas we are interested in the tract as one of the legal and lawful heirs in and to the former we do hereby relinquish all our right, title, Claim or dowery to said Alexander McMichael, James McMichael and William McMichael for the sum of two hundred dollars to us paid the receipt whereof is acknowledged and ourselves herewith satisfied and paid and do hereby warrant and defend the said against our heirs. In witness whereof we have hereunto set our hands and seals this 3rd November 1835.
