According to the Shady Grove Cemetery Genealogical History (first edition) 
book George S and Artie Mayes are the parents of: Lois, Rollyn, Margie, 
Martha, Gertrude, Sterling, Odra, James Thurston and Lester.

George was married a second time to Myrtle May Tucker Tillman Narry McMahan 
and together they had 2 children, Nellie Letha McMahan Goforth and Hazel 
McMahan.
