Jan. 8 1902 I, M.N. Moore, do this day and hereby make this my last will and testament. 1st I direct that my burial expenses, together with the doctors bill should there by any, be paid promptly. Hoping to leave ready means on hand sufficient for that purpose, and should there be any other indebtedness , the same should be paid as promptly as possible. 2nd I direct that whatever real estate, of which I may die possessed, be advertised and put up at public sale at an opportune time, after my death to the highest bidder, on a credit of eight, sixteen and twentyfour months, interest bearing notes with approved security to be taken, and a lien retained in deeds, until all the purchase money is paid. My old home place on Atlantic Street, if belonging to me at the time, to be sold in three lots first and then sold as a whole, the best sale to be the decisive one. My little personalty I may have at the time, the children may divide among themselves. Some things are already marked to whom they will go. And some pieces of furniture in my room will be found already changed in Bob's and Laura's little bills. 3rd I direct that the proceeds of sales as collected be deposited in bank making interest bearing certificates of deposit and when all is collected the same to be equally divided among my seven children. Namely, Robert L. Moore, Laura A. Waggoner, Joseph L. Moore, Nannie M. Pointer, J. Harvey Moore, Milton N. Moore Jr., and William Moore. Each of them accounting out of their respective shares for all charges or forms of indebtedness which may be found against them adding no interest. 4th I direct that anyone of my five boys which a majority of the children may think the best suited in every respect to act as executor without bond and without application to the courts in any way other than to have this will placed upon the county records and the one thus selected will draw or have drawn and sign all deeds to properties sold and collect all monies due and pay over to each one of the children as here in depose?, direct and also looking after all other business which may come before him as executor. 5th Said Executor will be allowed one hundred dollars for his time and trouble in winding up the estate and also all necessary expenses which may be incured.
