PRIVETT - 1943 =================================================================== Will of William Privett - Probated 16 day of September 1907 See M. B. '8' pg. __ I, WILLIAM PRIVETT have this day made my last testament will and being in sound mind, I want my wife to have the following property at my death, I want her to have my home place which is the west end of my farm containing 69 1/2 acres. At her death goes to my children JOE, LEWY, ALFORD, MAGGIE, JASPER, CORDIE and including my two grand children I raised MAY ALICE and WILLIE PRIVETT. I want my wife to have the choice horse and cow and calf and a buggie if there any when I die. I want her to have 15 bol corn and one thousand lbs of hay I want my house hold & kitchen furniture to be equally divided between my wife and children JOE, LEWY, ALFORD, MAGGIE & CORDIE including MAY ALICE & WILLIE PRIVETT my grand children I raised. I want my wife to divide the said furniture and dont want any dissatisfaction in it, If should be any the rest pay no attention to him or her. Money on hand after paying my debts to be equal divided betwen my wife SYLVAN and my children including my two grand MARY ALICE & WILLIE PRIVETT. All personal property what I have not given to my wife in this will to be divided as they see proper between my children including my two grand children I raised MARY ALICE & WILLIE PRIVETT. I want that 50 acres I bought from Bro. MILES East of my home place to be divided betwen my children including MARY ALICE and WILLIE PRIVETT. I dont want any timber used only to go to benefit of that farm 69 1/2 I give to my wife SYLVAN PRIVETT. Will of J. T. PRIVETT - Probated Dec. 29, 1934 I, J. T. PRIVETT of Crockett County, Tennessee do make and publish this as my last will and testament... Mentions: To my wife, MOLLIE PRIVETT, all of my estate... I direct that my daughter ADDIE COLVETT make her home with my wife free from any Board and my daughter ADDIE shall adminiser to the needs of my wife as much as her strength and ability will afford and I direct that she be allowed $60 per year for her service in careing for her mother... I direct that the contract I have made with JIM KLYCE in regard to makeing a crop on my Place this year be carried out as I have contracted... Executors: my sons, TOM PRIVETT, JOE PRIVETT and FREEMAN PRIVETT. At the death of my wife my executors to sell all of my property...and the proceeds to be equally divided with TOM PRIVETT, JOE PRIVETT, FREEMAN PRIVETT, ADDIE COLVETT, KATIE LEE SIMMONS. PRIVETT, and includes all names mentioned in said will. Will of J. W. PRIVETT - Probated March 4, 1943 I, J. W. PRIVETT, being of sound mind and disposing memory do make and publish this my last will and testament... Mentions: To my beloved wife, NANCY L. PRIVETT, all of my property, both real and personal... To my son, H. OSCAR PRIVETT, 30 acres off the north end of my farm, known as the POSTON land... Five Hundred dollars to the Johnson's Grove Missionary Baptist Church, of which I am now a member. Two Hundred and Fifty dollars to the Providence Missionary Baptist Church for the maintenance of the Providence Cemetery. To my son JIMMIE R. PRIVETT, 35 acres of land lying along the west side of my POSTON tract... also all of my land lying East of Highway 54, which is about 10 acres, next to my BROCK tract of land. To my daughter ANNIE LEE PRIVETT, a tract of about 25 acres, the balance of my BROCK tract... provided that she does not return to live with her present husband [name not given] from whom she is now separated.
