The wills are listed in order of their date of probate, and are for the following people: John Alfred Robertson - 1896 Julia Robertson - 1920 Mrs. Rosa Robertson - 1925 ==================================================================== John Alfred Robertson Will Probated September Term 1896 M. Book "T" page 580 Know all men by these presents that I , JOHN A. ROBERTSON of the County of Crockett and State of Tennessee, being of sound mind and disposing memory and conscience of the fact that all human beings must sooner or later die - I make the following as my last Will and testament revoking all other wills if any here - to fore made by me - Viz.. First: I direct that all my Just debts and obligations be met and full discharged by my Executor whom I will hereafter nominate - as soon after my departure as practicable. Second: I give and bequeath to my beloved wife REBECCA ROBERTSON for and during her natural life or Widowhood the tract of land where I now live "to wit" 140 acres in the 11th Civil District of Crockett County Tenn. Bounded on the North C. F. CARUTHERS, South by Pond Creek West by Dr. D.A. WALKER, (Wardland) and East by W. N. ROBERTSON. To have and to hold for herself and the children who reside with her during her widowhood and in case she does not remarry then during her natural life. Third: I give to my said wife REBECCA on the same terms as above described in Section 2d All of my personal property of every description - Stock notes, moneys account, farming implements, and all other property of every description that I may be legally seized and possessed of during her widowhood. Fourth: I give and bequeath to my children whom I will name the reversionary interest is said described 140 acres of land, and also the personal property remaining on hand at the death of their mother, or at her remarriage, if such should be the case. Which I don't in the least apprehend. The said children as refered to are FRANK D., JAMES, MORIAH, NOAH, LUKE, ZULA, ASA, AND JULIUS ROBERTSON. Fifth: I direct that in case of the marriage of any of my said Children and they or either of should die before distribution of my said estate then that portion to remain and be divided betwen those who are alive at the time, and that the same together with the reversionary interest in said land be equally divided. I would further direct hower that where the proper time arrives to divide said property both real and personal, if it is situated so that an equal division cannot be had in stind so as to be manifestly to their interest, that my Said Executor, be and he is empowered to sell any or all of said property real or personal on such terms as he thinks most advisable and make deeds to the purchasers, and divide the proceeds among my said equally as named in the foregoing. Sixth: I nominate FRANK D. ROBERTSON my Son as my Executor to this my last will and testament Given under my hand this April 8th 1895. JOHN A. I, JULIA ROBERTSON, do make and publish this my last Will and Testament, hereby revoking any Will heretofore made by me. First - My Executor hereinafter named, shall as soon as practicable after my death, take charge of my personal effects, convert the same in to money and out of the funds pay any debts I may owe at the time of my death and distribute the residue of the personalty among all of my heirs share and share alike the Children of ROSA JETTON and NEELY BROWN taking the share of their mother; and in the avent either of my other children JIM ROBERTSON and BILL ROBERTSON should die before I do, leaving children, such children to take the share of my personal estate that would have fallen to the parent. This refers to my personal estate only. Second - to my son JIM ROBERTSON with whom I make my home, I give, devise and bequeath TWENTY ACRES (20). off of the North end of my tract of land in the 10th District of Crockett County, the same being bounded on the North by PRUETT, East by REVELLE, South by CARTER, and West by TAYLOR. Third - The remainder of the tract, amounting to about Forty Three Acres (43) I give devise and bequeath to my son BILL ROBERTSON, the children of my daughter ROSA, and the children of my daughter NEELEY, who may be alive at the time of my death: one third of said 43 acres, I devise to my son BILL, one third of the 43 acres to the children of my daughter NEELEY and one third to the children of my daughter ROSA. Should my son BILL or my son JIM die before I do, the share of the land devise to them is to go to their children if they leave any children. The twenty acres given to my son JIM is to be so laid off as to include my dwelling and out-houses. Fourth - I nominate my son JIM as Executor of this my last Will, and Testament and ask that he not be required to make bond as such. PERRY, clerk ==================================================================== Will of Mrs. Rosa Robertson Probated Jan. 12th 1925 Minute Book 11 Page 42 State of Tennessee, I, ROSA ROBERTSON (a widow) residing in Alamo of said county and state DO MAKE AND PUBLISH THIS MY LAST WILL AND TESTAMENT, HEREBY REVOKING ANY FORMER WILL BY ME MADE AT ANY TIME. FIRST; It is my wish and desire that all my just debts be paid, from any money that I may be possessed of at the time of my death; SECOND; For the love and affection that I have for my daughter ANNIE ROBERTSON and that I may in some way show to her my appreciation of the manner in which she had remained with me, looking after my comfort, and waiting upon me, seeing to my needs in sickness and other acts of kindness to me, I do hereby give and bequeath to the said ANNIE ROBERTSON (my daughter) my house and Lot in Alamo, Tennessee which is now my home, together with all the household furniture therein, and all other property thereabouts, going to make up my home place, same being located on the West side of Johnson Street, in said town of Alamo, Tennessee. THIRD; It is my wish and desire that the remainder of property, after the first and second section of this will are carried out, be divided equally between my four children T. R. ROBERTSON, W. R. ROBERTSON, ANNIE ROBERTSON and WILLIE ROBERTSON, share and share alike as nearly as possible. FOURTH; It is my wish and desire that H. B.
