CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN - CEMETERIES - Prisoner of War Cemetery ----¤¤¤---- P.O.W. Cemetery, Cumberland County, Tennessee. The information was taken from the cemetery and records from Bilbrey Funeral Home, Crossville, Tennessee. It has been transcribed by Betty Nail Castillo. The P.O.W. Cemetery is located on the Jap Camp Road in Pomona, Cumberland County, Tennessee. The 4-H Camp currently resides at this location. It is located north of Yellow Creek. This camp contained German prisoners of war during World War II. It should be noted that markers for these individuals can be found at the site where they were originally buried. However, their bodies were exhumed and taken to the National Cemetery in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
