The Tate Cemetery is located on the Wilson Road in northern Cumberland County, Tennessee.
A special thanks to the individuals who recently cleaned this cemetery. It was read and transcribed
by Loreda Davis, Betty Castillo and Michael Boniol on June 6, 2005.

                                                                    indicates he was the Ex-Presiding Elder & Pioneer Preacher
                                                                    of East Tennessee.

BEULEY, P.M.                                    13 Sep 1899         Stone is broken & difficult to read. A death announcement in
                                                                    the Crossville Chronicle on October 25, 1899 indicates
                                                                    this may be the 21-year-old son of S.N. Bewley

There were several unmarked graves in this cemetery. Some gravestones without inscriptions were also noted.
