Lewis D. Ashburn

Nov. 27, 1955 - Oct. 9, 2005



Lewis D. Ashburn, 49, of Crossville,TN., passed away Oct. 9, 2005. 

Funeral services were conducted Oct. 12 ,2005, from the chapel of Crossville 

Memorial Funeral Home, with Wayne Matthews and Rick Dixon officiating. 

Burial was in Rinnie Cemetery.

Mr. Ashburn was born Nov. 27, 1955 in Putnam County,TN., the son of Naomi 

Ashburn and Dooley Ashburn.



He was of the Freewill Baptist faith and was employed in maintenance at 

Fairfield Glade before becoming disabled.



He was preceded in death by his mother, Naomi Ashburn; and daughter, 

Cynthia "Cindy" Ashburn.



Survivors include his wife, Betty Ashburn of Crossville,TN.; son, Jason Ashburn 

of Crossville,TN.; father, Dooley Ashburn of Clarkrange,TN.; brothers, Ricky 

Ashburn of Monterey,TN. and Derrick Ashburn of Spring City,TN.; and sisters, 

JoAnn Ashburn and Peanut Ashburn of Clarkrange,TN.



Pallbearers were Robert Dodson, Johnny Foust, Bill Templeton, Ricky Templeton, 

Tony Templeton, Greg Vaugn, Isom Phillips and Roger Miller.

Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the 

arrangements.
