REBA LORENE BROWN

Dec. 29, 1911--Dec. 8, 1998



Reba Lorene Brown, 86, of Crossville,TN.,passed away Dec. 8, 1998. Funeral 

services were held Dec. 10 ,1998 ,from the chapel of Burris Funeral Home. 

Graveside services were held Dec. 11,1998, from Crossville City Cemetery. 

The Rev. Dan Haskins officiated. 



She was born Dec. 29, 1911 in Oliver Springs, TN, the daughter of Joseph and 

Lula Walls Sheldon. 

Mrs. Brown was a seamstress, and she was a member of Homestead Baptist Church. 



Survivors include her daughters, Fanna Lou Sherrill and Jackie Vaden, both of 

Crossville,TN.; sons, William Joseph Brown and James Harry Brown Jr., both of 

Crossville,TN.; and brother, Joseph Sheldon of Asheville, NC. 



She was preceded in death by her husband, James Harry Brown Sr.; son, Jimmy R. 

Brown; and granddaughter, Linda Loy Whittenburg. 



Memorials may be made Tennessee Baptist Children's Home, P.O. Box 2206, 

Brentwood, TN, 37240. Burris Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
