William J. Brown

Nov. 6, 1936 - July 12, 2004



William (Billy) Joseph Brown, 67, of Crossville,TN., passed away July 12, 2004. 

Funeral services were conducted July 14,2004, from the chapel of Bilbrey 

Funeral Home, with burial in Green Acres Memory Gardens. 

Bros. Vern Daugherty and Johnny B. Reeves officiated.



Mr. Brown was born Nov. 6, 1936 in Cumberland County,TN., the son of James 

Harry Brown and Reba Sheldon Brown.

He was head produce manager at Kroger and of the Baptist faith.



Survivors include his wife, Syble Kerley Brown of Crossville,TN.; daughter and 

son-in-law, Lori and H.L. Turner of Cookeville,TN.; grandchildren, William 

Jonathan Miller and his wife, Shonda, Zackery Alan Miller and his wife, Corey, 

Christina Lorene Miller, Holly Turner, Sharlinda Turner and Karlie Turner; 

great-grandchildren, Payton Miller, J.J. Miller, Wesley Miller, Abbigail Miller 

and Maggie Miller; brother, Harry Brown of Crossville,TN.; and sisters, Jackie 

Vaden and Fanna Lou Sherrill of Crossville,TN.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his son, William 

Jeffery Brown; and brother, Jimmy R. Brown.

Pallbearers were Jerry Farmer, Steve Vaden, Michael Vaden, Ed McCaleb, Jack 

Buckner, Gene Chism, Curtis Hinch, Roy Phipps and James Whittenburg.

Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
