Conrad Calvin Barnes
Sept. 7, 1915-April 18, 1997

Funeral services for Conrad Calvin Barnes,  81,  of Chattanooga,  TN.  passed
away April 18,  1997,  Services were held April 21 from the Chapel of Burris
Funeral Home,  with burial in the Crossville City Cemetery. 

Mr. Barnes was born Sept.  7, 1915,  in Crab Orchard,  TN.  the son of Martin
and Sarah Barnes. 

Mr.  Barnes was a retired service station owner,  and a member of the Faith
Baptist Church.  

He was preceded in death by his first wife,  Lillie Harding; also Wilbern
Sidney Stansel and Dulcia Barnes. 

Survivors include his wife,  Leola Barnes of Chattanooga; step-sons Jeff
Wilson and his wife Karen and Robert Wilson and his wife Tami,  all of
Chattanooga; sister Edith Wells of Daytona Beach,  Fla. ; nieces and nephews;
and three grandchildren. 

Pallbearers were Jeff Wilson,  Robert Wilson,  Gordon Wells,  Jim Garrison,
Verdin Potter and Graham Gill.  The Revs.  David Tilley and Russell Honeycutt
officiated,  with Burris Funeral Home in charge of the arrangements.
