Dorothy Betty Barnes
 
Dorothy Betty Barnes,  70,  of Crossville, TN.  passed away Friday Nov.  1,
1996. Funeral services were conducted 1 p. m.  Sunday,  Nov.  3 from the
Chapel of Evans Mortuary of Rockwood with interment at Oak Grove Cemetery.
Rev.  Fred Copeland officiated.  Mrs.  Barnes was of the Baptist faith.  

Survivors include her husband,  Floyd E.  Barnes of Crossville; son Nathan
Barnes of Crossville; daughters,  Deborah Norris and Brandi Hyder both of
Crossville; grandchildren,  Ashley Hyder and Randy Lee Norris; and brother,
Walter W.  Parris of Harriman.  

She was preceded in death by her parents,  Frank and Ella Davis Parris;
granddaughter,  Tammy Kaye Barnes; sisters,  Myrtle Ruth King and Bessie Lee
Rogers; brother,  James K.  Parris; and nephew,  James W.  Parris.  

Evans Mortuary was in charge of the arrangements.
