RUBY L. CUMBY

Jan. 22, 1915--March 25, 1997



Ruby Louetha Cumby, 82, of Crossville,TN.,passed away March 25, 1997.Funeral 

services will be conducted today, March 28,1997, from the chapel of Crossville 

Memorial Funeral Home with interment at Hyderstown Cemetery. 

Sister Ruby Lawson officiated. 



Mrs. Cumby was born Jan. 22, 1915 in Kentucky to the late Marion Sidney and 

Mentha Arizona Lowhorn Lee. 

She was a homemaker. 

Survivors include her daughters, Shirley Davenport, Charlotte Rollins, and Mary 

Garrett, all of Crossville,TN., and Betty Selby of Pikeville,TN.; sons, Joe 

Cumby and Bud Cumby, both of Crossville,TN.; step son, James Cumby of 

Sparta,TN.; step daughter, Pauline Young of Sparta,TN.; 24 grandchildren; 23 

great-grandchildren; and sister, Irene Ford of Crossville,TN. 



She was preceded in death by her husband, Casto Cumby; daughters, Louetha Cumby 

and Bonnie King; stepdaughter, Francis Howard; brothers, Jessie Lee and Donald 

Lee; sisters, Willie Oakes and Rita Womack; and two grandsons. 



Crossville Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
