Funeral services for Royce Haskell Cox, 82, of Fredonia Road, Crossville, were 
held July 13 at Fredonia Cemetery.Mr.Cox passed away July 11, 1998. He was 
born May 21, 1916 in Cumberland County, the son of Morris and Rhoda Street 
Cox.
Mr. Cox was a businessman, and he was of the Baptist faith. Survivors include 
his wife, Bessie Cox of Crossville; son, Donald Cox of Crossville; daughter 
Donna Parham of Crossville; sisters, Rose Helton of Crossville, Chole Cox of 
Crossville, Greta Whittenburg of Cincinnati, OH, Betty Elmore of Crossville; 
brother, Dallas Cox of Crossville; eight grandchildren and 14 great-
grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents; son, Jimmy Cox; 
daughter, Rita Cox; two infant sons; brothers, Raymond, Therion and Vernon; 
and sister, Lorene Henline.
Lou Smith officiated.
Crossville Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
