Claudie Dale Cox, 51, of Thomasville, NC.,passed away Dec. 4, 1999.
Funeral services were held Dec. 7,1999, from the chapel of J.C. Green 
and Sons Funeral Home in Thomasville, with burial in Original Church of 
God Church Cemetery in Lexington, NC. 
The Revs. Clayton Hulin, Stuart White and Erick Grubb officiated.
He was born March 10, 1948 in Morgan County, TN, the son of Lige Cox 
and Mattie Lemmons Cox.
Mr. Cox was employed with Carrick Turning Works in High Point, NC, 
and he was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his wife of 15 years, Jacqueline "Jackie" Gordon, of 
Thomasville; daughters and sons-in-law, Sandra and Gary Bryant, and 
Sharon and Kenneth Tucker Sr., all of Thomasville, and Phyllis and Mickey 
Childs of Marietta, GA; seven grandchildren; and one great-grandchild; 
sisters, Louise Hedrick, Della Pugh and Carolyn Daniels, all of Rockwood, 
TN; and brothers, Franklin Cox and Bobby Cox, both of Thomasville, Lee 
Cox of Oakdale, TN, and Doyle Cox of Crab Orchard.,TN.
J.C. Green and Sons Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.
