CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - W.L. "Bill" Cox, 14 Apr 1999 ----¤¤¤---- April 29,1928-April 14,1999 W.L. "Bill" Cox, 70, of Crossville,TN., passed away April 14, 1999. Funeral services were held April 16,1999, from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with burial in Fredonia Cemetery. The Rev. Dennis Daniels officiated, with special music by Jay Fox, Betty Green, Marshall Pugh and Deloy Brown. Pallbearers were Eddie Cox, Link Cox, Jim Wilson, Tom Looney, Coolidge Wyatt, Boyd Wyatt Jr., T.J. Higginbottom and Edgar Cox. He was born April 29, 1928 in Cumberland County,TN., the son of Dick and Harriet Taylor Cox. Mr. Cox was a developer and businessman. He was a member of University Baptist Church in Coral Gables, FL, and he attended Grace Christian Fellowship. He was a Shriner, with membership in the MAHI Shrine in Miami, FL. Mr. Cox was a veteran of the U.S. Army. Survivors include his wife, Betty Wyatt Cox of Crossville,TN., sons and daughter-in-law, Roger Cox, and Dale and Lisa Cox, all of Miami; six- grandchildren; sister, Audie Hunter of Worster, MA; brother, Richard Cox of Crossville,TN., and several nieces and nephews.
