ANDREW JACKSON DAVIS

Aug. 11, 1925 --May 16, 1999



Andrew Jackson Davis, 73, of Crossville,TN.,passed away May 16, 1999. Funeral 

services were held May 19,1999 , from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with 

burial in Creston Cemetery. Bro. Grover Atkinson officiated.

He was born Aug. 11, 1925 in Cumberland County,TN., the son of Rollin and 

Bessie Smith Davis.

Mr. Davis was a die pressman for Crossville Rubber Company, and he was of the 

Baptist faith.

He was preceded in death by his son, Tony Davis; brothers, Henry, Lonnie and 

Carl Davis; and sister, Edna Miller.

Survivors include his wife, Lucille Parsons Davis of Crossville,TN.; sons, 

Glen, Robert, and Frank Davis, all of Crossville,TN.; daughters, Diane Walker, 

Barbara Cunningham, JoAnn Kuenzer, Patricia Davis, and Melissa Gail McCullough, 

all of Crossville,TN.; 20 grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; brothers, 

Hollis, Bobby and Lane Davis, all of Crossville,TN.; and sisters, Oma Jane 

Ashburn and Elouise Burks, both of Crossville,TN., and Mae Bowdell of Red Key, 

IN. 

Pallbearers were D.M. Murphy, Eddie Norris, Roger Norris, Larry Davis, Donnie 

Davis and Michael Davis. Bilbrey Funeral Home was in charge of the 

arrangements.
