Clarence C. Davis

Aug. 13, 1915 - March 28, 2005



Clarence Christopher Davis, 89, of Crossville,TN., passed away March 28, 2005. 

Funeral services were conducted from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with 

interment at Green Acres Memory Gardens.

Mr. Davis was born Aug. 13, 1915 in Greene County, TN, the son of Cecil Davis 

and Bess Ruth Hice Davis.

He was a member of Oaklawn Baptist Church and was a 50-year Mason. He served in 

the Navy during World War II.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Martha 

Christine Davis; son, Cecil Davis; brothers, Grayson Davis, Cyril Davis, 

Kenneth Davis and Keith Davis; and grandchild, Vironica Davis.

Survivors include his daughter, Linda Presley of Crossville,TN.; sons, Jimmy 

Davis of Crab Orchard,TN., and Tony Davis of Cartersville, TN; brother, Earl 

Davis of California; 13 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-

great-grandchild.

Bilbrey Funeral Home, Inc. was in charge of the arrangements.

I think the above obituary,where it has son Tony Davis of Cartersville,TN, I 

think it should probably be Cartersville,Georgia... Because another obituary I 

have has the grandchild Veronica Davis and her parents from 

Cartersville,Georgia..
