Charlie Davis

Aug. 16, 1918 - Feb. 24, 2002



Charlie Davis, 83, of Crossville,TN., passed away Feb. 24, 2002. Funeral 

services were conducted Feb. 27,2002, from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home, 

with burial in New Era Cemetery. Pastor Rudy Oakes officiated.

Mr. Davis was born Aug. 16, 1918, in Cumberland County,TN., the son of Landon 

and Alice Walker Davis.

Survivors include his son and daughter-in-law, David and Sherry Davis of 

Cleveland, TN; daughters and sons-in-law, Marilyn and Bob Jennings, and Angie 

and Mike Woolum, all of Cookeville,TN.; seven grandchildren; and special 

friend, Sue Lawson of Crossville,TN .

Pallbearers were Tony Lawson, Donnie Lawson, Floyd Turner, Thomas Turner, 

Jonathan Lawson and Alvin Sherrill.

Hood Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
