CONNIE SUE DAVIS



June 6, 1942--Jan. 27, 1998



Funeral services were held Jan. 29,1998, from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral 

Home ,for Connie Sue Davis, 55, of Chestnut Hill Road,Crossville,TN.,who passed 

away Jan. 27, 1998.

Burial was in Haley's Grove Cemetery. 

She was born June 6, 1942 in Cumberland County,TN., the daughter of Leland and 

Minnie Nail Sherrill. 



Mrs. Davis was a homemaker and a member of Oaklawn Baptist Church.

Survivors include her daughters and sons-in-law, Deanna and Gary Bertram, and 

Jill and Rick Davis, all of Crossville,TN.; son and daughter-in-law, Charles 

Russell and Wendy Davis of Crossville,TN.; stepson, Christopher Davis of 

Crossville,TN.; seven grandchildren; brothers, Jody Sherrill and Andrew "Buddy" 

Sherrill, both of Crab Orchard,TN.; and sisters, Opal McNeal of Victorville, 

CA, Pansy Oberg of Okemos, MI, and Wanda Hild of Crossville,TN. 



She was preceded in death by her husband, Cecil Davis; parents, Leland and 

Minnie Nail Sherrill; sister, Nell Skean; and brother, Armonell Sherrill. 



Pallbearers were Adam Hild, Joseph Sherrill, Johnny Presley, Tim Davis, Greg 

Davis and Tony Kantor.

The Revs. J.D. Carnes and Russell Honeycutt officiated with special music by 

Terry Christopher and David Mahan. 



Bilbrey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangments.
