Crossville Chronicle-Obituary for April ,1999


MITCHELL DAVIS

May 18, 1926--April 12,1999 



Funeral services were held April 14,1999 from the chapel of Crossville Memorial 

Funeral Home ,for Mitchell Davis, 72, of Crossville,TN., who passed away April 

12, 1999 . 

Burial was in Big Lick Cemetery. Bros. Carson Whiteaker and Fred Holcomb 

officiated. 



He was born May 18, 1926 in Crossville,TN., the son of Andrew and Edna Oma 

Davis.

Mr. Davis was a service station attendant.

Survivors include his wife, Loreda Davis of Crossville,TN.; brother, Armon 

Davis; and several nieces and nephews. 



In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his brothers, Beverage, 

Roba, Rollin, Herbert, Elmer and Marion Davis; and sisters, Myrtle Turner and 

Eva Turner. 



Pallbearers were Aaron Tinnel, Chester Turner, Terry Wood, Keith Wood, Shane 

Wood and Ed Bowman. 

Crossville Memorial Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
