Arthur Davis

Aug. 1, 1911 - May 8, 2003



Arthur Davis, 91, of Crossville,TN., passed away May 8, 2003. Funeral services 

were conducted May 9,2003, from the chapel of Crossville Memorial Funeral Home, 

with burial in Big Lick Cemetery. 

Sam Davis, Charles H. Christopher and Mike Kerley officiated.

Mr. Davis was born Aug. 1, 1911 in Crossville,TN., the son of Thomas and 

Parilee Davis.

He was a farmer.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife, Lillie Davis; 

bothers, White, Nick, Rainey, Reuben, Frank and Venus Davis; and sister, Rhoda 

Davis.

Survivors include his daughters and son-in-law, Gladys Davis and Classie and 

Charles H. Christopher, all of Crossville,TN.; son and daughter-in-law, Dallas 

and Helen Davis of Sparta,TN.; grandsons, Carl Christopher and his wife, 

Kristi, C.H. Christopher Jr. and his wife, Deborah, Calvin Christopher, and Sam 

Davis and his wife, Becky; granddaughter, Carla Joan Cody and her husband, 

Stacy; great-grandchildren, Chandler and Cole Christopher, Cassidy Christopher, 

Noah and Elijah Cody and Seth Allen Davis; sisters, Elizabeth Mae Johnson and 

Myrtle Lee "Sissie" Davis, both of Crossville,TN.; and many nieces and nephews.



Pallbearers were Carl Christopher, Charles H. Christopher Jr., Calvin 

Christopher, Stacy Cody, Jim Hood and Robert Johnson.

Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the 

arrangements.
