Vester J. Davis

Oct. 14, 1963 - Jan. 26, 2005



Vester Junior Davis, 41, of Crossville,TN., passed away Jan. 26, 2005. 

Graveside services were conducted Jan. 28,2005 at Bowden Cemetery, with Bro. 

Vern Daugherty officiating.

Mr. Davis was born Oct. 14, 1963 in Cumberland County,TN., the son of Jackson 

Junior and April Cox Davis. 

He was a painter and of the Baptist faith. 

He lived in California for 12 years, loved the outdoors and hunting and fishing.

He was preceded in death by his mother, April Cox Davis; brother, Ben Davis; 

and grandparents, Raymond and Dassie Cox and Roba and Rissie Davis.



Survivors include his father, Jackson Junior Davis of Crossville,TN.; brothers, 

Drew Davis of Crossville,TN., Rocky Davis of Murfreesboro,TN., and Ralph Davis 

of Crossville,TN.; sisters, Pearl Chapman of Nashville,TN., Jackie Davis 

Newland of Ashland City, TN, Elana Byrd of Pleasant Hill,TN., Amy Rector and 

Sara Davis, both of Crossville,TN.; his caregivers who were his aunts; and 

cousins, Sharon Cox, Mary Bullard, Susie Meadows, Ida Cox and Alisa Hodge.



Pallbearers were David Davis, Sylvia Davis, Angie McCloud, Scott Brown, Rocky 

Davis, Ralph Davis, Renee Chapman, Trevor Davis and Gary Rector.



Hood Funeral Home and Crematory, LLC was in charge of the arrangements.
