ARMON JAY DAVIS

Nov. 10, 1943--Aug. 17, 2000



Armon Jay Davis, 56, of Hixson, TN, passed away Aug. 17, 2000. A memorial 

service was conducted Aug. 19 ,2000 ,from the chapel of Williamson and Sons 

Funeral Home in Soddy-Daisy, TN, with the Rev. Wayne Bowman officiating.



Mr. Davis was born Nov. 10, 1943, in Cumberland County,TN., the son of Herbert 

and Ruby Davis.

He was a carpenter.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Herbert and Ruby Davis; and a brother, 

Harold Davis.

Survivors include his wife, Joan Davis of Hixson,TN.; son, Jason S. Davis of 

Hixson,TN.; and two sisters, Pearline Rhea of Crossville,TN., and Jeanette 

Cannon of La Follette, TN.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations be made in memory of Jay 

Davis, c/o The Shannon Womac Fund, Memorial Hospital, 2325 DeSales Ave., 

Chattanooga, TN 37404-9967; to the Ronald McDonald House, 200 Central Ave., 

Chattanooga, TN 37403; or the charity of donor's choice.
