Funeral services were conducted Sept. 24,2004, from the chapel of 
Forest Lawn Funeral Home of Goodlettsville, TN, for Buford Ray 
(Pete) Denton, formerly of Crossville,TN. who passed away Sept. 
21, 2004. Bro. Jim Joines officiating. 
Place of interment was Forest Lawn Cemetery Garden of Love with 
United States Air Force honors.
He was retired from McCaw Steel of Nashville and was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his sons, Ricky and Roger Denton, both of Crossville,TN., 
daughter, Debbie Denton of Murfreesboro,TN., sisters, Ethel Rimmer of 
Crossville,TN., and Inez Fox of Dandridge,TN.,; brother, R.J. Denton of North 
Carolina; five grandchildren; five great-grandchildren; and a host of loving 
nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Worley and Mary Denton; sisters, 
Eula Roach and Bulah Huddleston; and brothers, Roy and Chet Denton.
