Carl Dunbar Jr., 71, of Crossville, TN. passed away on April 18, 1997, in 
Cumberland Medical Center, Funeral services were held on March 20,1997, from 
the chapel of Crossville Memorial Funeral Home, with burial in Crossville City 
Cemetery. The Rev. Russell Honeycutt officiated. Pallbearers were Teddy 
Sherrill, Charles Rankhorn, Johnny Warner, David Dunbar, Joe Eller and Ray 
Jernigan. 

 Mr.Dubar was born April 29, 1925 in Crossville, TN.the son of the late Carl 
Dunbar Sr. and Haley Jane Patton. He was a painting contractor. 

Survivors include son and daughter-in-law James Carl and Pam Dunbar of 
Crossville; grandson, Tyler Dunbar of Crossville; brother Bill Dunbar of 
Dayton, Tenn.; and sisters-in-law Bessie Dunbar and Martha Jo Dunbar, both of 
Cookeville,TN.He was preceded in death by his father, Carl Dunbar Sr.; mother, 
Haley Patton; son, Donny Mose Dunbar; brothers Lester, John and Robert Dunbar; 
and sister, Pearl Scharge. Crossville Memorial Funeral Home in charge of the 
arrangements.
