CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - James E. "Jim" Garrison, 29 May 2001 ----¤¤¤---- March 27,1937-May 29,2001 Funeral services were conducted June 1,2001, from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home for James E. "Jim" Garrison, 64, of Crossville, TN. who passed away May 29, 2001. Burial in Crossville City Cemetery. The Rev. Russell Honeycutt officiated, with special music by Casandra Garrison. Pallbearers were his sons, Rocky Garrison, Craig Garrison and Jimmy Garrison; and David Garrison, Lenny Hayes and Charlie Threet. Mr. Garrison was born March 27, 1937, in Putnam County, TN, the son of Elbert Sr. and Ruby Norrod Garrison. He was an employee of General Processing, and of the Baptist faith. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War. Survivors include his wife, Johnnie Roberts Garrison of Crossville,TN., sons and daughters-in-law, Rocky and Casandra Garrison of Decatur, AL, Craig and Marsha Garrison, and Jimmy and Lori Garrison, all of Crossville,TN., sisters, Susie Farley, Joy Blevins and Peggy Barnes, all of Crossville,TN., and Lillie Garrison of San Francisco, CA; brothers, Otis Garrison of Anderson, IL, Elbert Garrison Jr. of Alexandria, IN, and Sonny Garrison of Crossville,TN., and five grandchildren, Abby, Alex, T.J., Taylor and Jacob. He was preceded in death by his brother, D.M. Garrison; and sister, Emogene Threet.
