Sylvia L. Godsey-(Daniels)

June 18,1923-March 7,2003

Funeral services were conducted March 10,2003, 
from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home for Sylvia 
Lucille Godsey,79, of Crab Orchard,TN.who passed 
away  March 7, 2003. Burial was in Haley's Grove 
Cemetery. Bro. Phil Jenkins officiated. Pallbearers 
were Donald Moore, Steven Back, Raymond Back, 
Scotty Godsey, Cheyenne Barnes and Tinker Godsey.
Mrs. Godsey was born June 18, 1923 in Rhea County, 
TN, the daughter of Oliver and Julie Burns Daniels.
She was a housewife and a member of the Church 
of Christ.
Survivors include her sons, Raymond Godsey of 
Peavine, TN, Tommy Godsey of Crab Orchard, 
Pete Godsey of Ozone, TN, and Bobby, Ricky and 
Joe Godsey, all of Crab Orchard; daughters, 
Geroldine Conger of Knoxville, Christine Cox, Louise 
Cox, Patsy Barnes, Peggy Back and Diane Hale, 
all of Crab Orchard; 43 grand-children; 62 great-
grandchildren; nine great-great-grandchildren; 
sisters, Melba Gunter, Geroldine Smith and Wilma 
Sherrill, all of Crossville, and Gladys Sherrill and 
Mildred Thurman of Crab Orchard; and brothers, 
Buddy Daniels of Rockwood, TN, and Kenneth 
and Calvin Daniels of Crab Orchard.
She was preceded in death by her husbad, Frank 
Godsey; daughters, Imogene Hoskins, Glenda 
Gunter and Brenda Godsey; sisters, Irene Godsey, 
Inas Daniels, Agnes Sherrill and Edna Houston.

Bilbrey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements
