GORDON RAY MARSH

Gordon Ray Marsh,62,of Benefit Road, Crossville,TN., passed away Dec.19,1997. 

Funeral services were held Dec. 21,1997 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral 

Home, with burial in Marsh Family Cemetery. 

He was born July 8, 1935 in Cumberland County,TN., the son of George and Daisy 

Brown Marsh.

Mr. Marsh was a roofer for Turner Roofing Company and attended the Ridgedale 

Baptist Church.

Survivors include his wife, Marsha Marsh of Browntown,TN.; son, Steven Marsh of 

Browntown; grandchildren, Kenny, Kristy, Richard, Breana and Jennifer; stepson, 

Allen Brown of Browntown; stepdaughters, Cynthia Stone of Browntown and Norma 

Stone of Cookeville,TN.; brothers, Sam, Albert, and J.T. Marsh, all of 

Browntown, and Daryl E. Marsh of Crossville,TN., and Jody Marsh of Browntown; 

sisters, Muriel Garrett, Katie Rector, Rose Brown, Faye Lewis, and Shirley 

Jones, all of Browntown, Maggie Lewis, Mable Ashburn, and Janie Honeycutt, all 

of Crossville,TN., and Jewel Kilby of Hebbertsburg; and stepmother, Virgie 

Marsh of Crossville,TN. 

Bro. Gary Lewis officiated, with special music by Gary and Mable Lewis.

Bilbrey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements. 

Pallbearers were Thurman Brown, Jimmy Brown, Delvin Marsh, Michael Davis, Chris 

Brown and Tracy Williams.
