Edna S. Meadows

Jan. 18, 1946 - May 10, 2005



Edna Sue Newberry Meadows, 59, of Knoxville,TN., formerly of Crossville,TN., 

passed away May 10, 2005. 

Funeral services were conducted May 13,2005, from the chapel of Crossville 

Memorial Funeral Home, with burial in Bakers Cemetery in Dorton. 

Bill Smith officiated.

Mrs. Meadows was born Jan. 18, 1946 in Overton County,TN., the daughter of 

Bennie and Auda Taylor Newberry.

She was a homemaker and of the Church of Christ faith.



She was preceded in death by her husband, Charles Meadows; son, Dwayne 

Newberry; and mother, Auda Newberry.



Survivors include her daughters, Rose Worsham, Thelma Rollins, Tina Worsham and 

Teresa Wilson, all of Crossville,TN.; 11 grandchildren; seven great-

grandchildren; father, Bennie Newberry; brother, James Newberry of Crossville; 

sisters, Gerri Matthews of Crossville,TN.; and stepdaughters, Sharon Marine of 

Sevierville,TN., Kathy Walton of Maryville,TN., and Donna Meadows of Crossville.



Pallbearers were Josh Houston, Chris Marine, Brandon Marine, James Johnson, 

Jimmy Wilson and David Rollins.

Crossville Memorial Funeral Home and Crematory, Inc. was in charge of the 

arrangements.
