Emma Martin
 
Funeral Services for Emma Beth Martin, of Crossville, 
who passed away in Cumberland Medical Center July 7, 1996, 
were held Tuesday, July 9, from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral
Home, with burial in Green Acres Memory Gardens. Dr. James Lee
officiated.
She was born Aug.26, 1898 in Wise County, TX, the daughter 
of William and Samantha Jones Barnes.
Mrs. Martin was a house-wife/homemaker and a member of
Gospel Baptist Tabernacle Church.
Survivors include one daughter, Maxine Bertram of 
Crossville;one son, Rexford Martin Jr. of Austin, TX;
14 grandchildren; 23 great-grandchildren; three
great great-grandchildren; and a host of nieces and nephews.
Pallbearers were Kerry Dishman,  Stuart Dishman, 
Thomas Whittle Jr., Stuart Dishman Jr.,  Lester Cole Jr.
and Shaun Sherrill.
