Lela McCulley Martin, 85, of Crossville,TN.,passed away Sept. 9, 1999.
Funeral services were held Sept.11,1999, at Burris Funeral Home, with 
burial in Crossville City Cemetery. Bro. Arlon Way officiated.
Pallbearers were Robert Martin, Zachary Martin, Charlie Wiggins, Billy 
Martin, Sonny Reed and Robert Hinckle.
She was born Dec. 8, 1913 in Overton County, TN, the daughter of 
Robert J. and Locky Belle Bilbrey McCulley.
Mrs. Martin retired in December 1976 from the Cumberland County 
Board of Education after 25 years as secretary.
Survivors include her daughter and son-in-law, Charles and Glenda 
Martin Byars of Gaffney, SC; son and daughter-in-law, Robert and 
Carol Martin of Crossville,TN., sisters-in-law, Elaine Martin Elmore, 
Hazel Martin, Mary Jo Martin, and Jerry Martin, all of Crossville,TN., 
grandchildren, Zach Martin of Crossville,TN., and Katie Byars of Gaffney.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Glenn L. Martin.
Burris Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
