Roy McDaniel, 71, of Cooke Rd., passed away Oct. 31, 1996, Funeral services 
were conducted at 1 p.m. Sunday Nov. 3,1996, from the Chapel of Bilbrey 
Funeral Home with interment at Crossville City Cemetery. Bro. Terry Bear 
officiated. Special music by Terry and Kathy Bear, and John Pugh.Mr. McDaniel 
was born Feb. 27, 1925 in Cumberland County to Jack and Nancy Jane Godsey 
McDaniel. He had been employed in the State Highway Department and was a 
member of the Church of God of Prophecy. 
Pallbearers were Danny Goss, James Wilson, Randy McDaniel, Mike Young, Lynn 
McDaniel and Raymond McDaniel. Mr.McDaniel was preceded in death by his wife, 
Mary Agnes McDaniel; brothers, Jim Scott, Dennis Scott and Starling McDaniel. 
Survivors include his sons, Leroy McDaniel and Jackie McDaniel, both of 
Crossville; grandchildren, Tommy, Sherry, Randy, and Dusty McDaniel; one great 
grandchild; sister, Elizabeth Goss of Cleveland, Ohio. 
Bilbrey Funeral Home was in charge of arrangements.
