CUMBERLAND COUNTY, TN - OBITUARIES - Emma Wyatt Pedigo, 4 Nov 2001 --------------¤¤¤¤¤¤-------------- Jan. 10, 1913 - Nov. 4, 2001 Funeral services were conducted Nov. 6,2001 from the chapel of Hood Funeral Home, for Emma Pedigo, 88, of the Homestead community, who passed away Nov. 4, 2001. Burial was in Mayland Cemetery. The Rev. Dan Haskins and the Rev. Mike Ritzman officiated. Mrs. Pedigo was born Jan. 10, 1913, in Cumberland County,TN., the daughter of Doc Hensley and Marget Barnes Wyatt. She was a homemaker, and a member of Homestead Baptist Church. She was one of the first 25 "original Homesteaders." Survivors include her son and daughter-in-law, Clyde and Velma Pedigo of Kingston,TN., daughters, Betty Pedigo and Emma Jean Vaden, both of Crossville,TN., five grandchildren; and three great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by her parents; her husband, Z.D. Pedigo; brother, Floyd Wyatt; and son-in-law, Doyle Vaden. Pallbearers were Bob Vaden, Mike Balton, Marshall Hickey, Bud Berry, Jim Pedigo and Randy Vaden.
