Alva Alvie Reed Potter, 83, of Crossville,TN., passed away July 9, 1998.
Funeral services were held July 11,1998, in the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral 
Home and graveside committal at Haley's Grove Cemetery on July 12,
1998.
The Rev. John McCormick officiated.
Pallbearers were Dwight Potter, Lowell Potter, Bobby Hamby, Gerald T. 
Potter, Travis Potter and Travis Robbins.
He was born Jan. 1, 1914 in Lancing, TN, the son of John Ivory and Eliza 
Howard Potter.
Mr. Potter was a rock quarry stonecutter, and he was of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include sisters, Clara Hawn of Cookeville, TN, and Edna Barnes 
of Rockwood, TN; brother, Virgil Potter of Wartburg, TN; and several nieces 
and nephews.
Bilbrey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
