Emma Pugh, 92, of Crossville, TN. passed away Jan. 17, 2000.  Funeral services 
were held Jan. 20,2000, from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral Home, with burial 
in Haley's Grove Cemetery. Bro. Fred Holcomb Jr. officiated. Pallbearers were 
Jeff Pugh, Nicholas Pugh, Mike Eaton, Jerry Hinch, Jimmy Barnwell and Vaughn 
Stover.
Mrs.Emma Pugh was born Aug. 27, 1907 in Crab Orchard, TN. the daughter of 
Walter and Betty Hedgecoth Barnwell.
Mrs. Pugh was a merchant, and she was of the Protestant faith.
Survivors include her son, Clifton Pugh Jr. of Cross Plains, TN; four 
grandchildren; sisters, Pauline Scott and Edith Monday, both of Crossville, 
Mary Sherrill of Manchester, TN, and Hazel Salon of Cleveland, OH; and 
brothers, Hagor Barnwell of Crossville, and Larkin Barnwell of Crab 
Orchard,TN.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Clifton Pugh Sr.; parents, Walter 
and Betty Barnwell; brothers, Hiram, Lynn and Warden Barnwell; and sisters, 
Lela Pugh and Clara Durham.
Bilbrey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
