Funeral services were conducted April 17 from the chapel of Bilbrey Funeral 
Home,for Arthur James "Pudge" Rector, 95, of Crossville,who passed away April 
14,2002.
Burial was at Bowman Cemetery. Bro. Danny Bell officiated.
Mr. Rector was born March 18, 1907, in Cumberland County, the son of William 
and Anna Belle Smith Rector.
He was a carpenter, and of the Baptist faith.
Survivors include his daughter, Kathryn Agee of Crossville; son, J.D. Rector 
of Thompkinsville, KY; sister, Ella Blaylock of Thompkinsville; seven 
grandchildren; and four great-grandchildren.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Irene Weaver Rector.
Pallbearers were Jammeson Barrett, Jason Barrett, Ray Bowman, Edwin Rector, 
J.D. Rector Jr., Tommy Godsey, Justin Davis and Tim Miller.
Bilbrey Funeral Home was in charge of the arrangements.
